One of my favorite movies of 2005 was the film Sin City. So I was psyched to hear that a sequel was in the works. But it seems like the sequel is now on hold because it’s awaiting a new cast member who is currently pregnant. Who is this co-star you may ask? Well it’s Angelina Jolie who as we all know is expecting a baby very soon. This report was confirmed by Rosario Dawson who played the character Gail in the first one. Angelina Jolie’s character name is rumored to be “A Dame to Kill for” in the sequel. Dawson states that the film has been postponed because the director Robert Rodriquez has always wanted to have Jolie play the lead role in the films sequel. If you’re a fan of the graphic comic novel series by the same name, the sequel will be based on the following novels “A Dame to Kill For” and “Lost, Lonely, and Lethal.” Considering how good the original one was and since the film has the same writers, actors and director I am eagerly awaiting the sequel.
