Broken Lizard is a comedy troupe from Canada. We know these guys because they brought us a little movie called Super Troopers. Not to mention they brought us the god-awful Club Dread, The Dukes of Hazard, and some movie called Beerfest which I think maybe 5 people in the world saw (I’m joking since Beerfest has been a big hit since it has been on DVD even though it flopped in the theatre) Well because of these films and the recent DVD success of Beerfest, Paul Soter admits that there is going to be a Super Troopers 2 now. The original film was the first film released that made the group a household name. Soter says that because the group has grown away from the original film and has become known for their other works, they have decided to make a sequel. He mentions that the group has great ideas for the new film and according to the release dates it’s suppose to hit theatres sometime next year. So fans keep your eye out for Super Troopers 2.
