Veronica Mars aka Kristen Bell's new movie role

After seeing how bad Pulse looked and did in the theater, I was wondering if Kristen Bell would ever have a film career. She is great on Veronica Mars however her movie choices thus far have not been the best. Well maybe her luck will change since she will be starring in the new film Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The film will be produced by Judd Apatow, the man who brought us The 40 Year Old Virgin as well as Anchorman. The film will be about an actress (Bell) who dumps her boyfriend and vacations with her new beau only to find out that her ex is staying at the same resort trying to forget all about her. Sounds like a pretty bland idea if you ask me but knowing Apatow there will probably be a lot of wackiness and silliness to make the film work. Actor Jason Segal who stars in the television series How I Met Your Mother wrote the screenplay for the film and is also starring as one of Bell’s costars.
For the time being you can watch Bell in Veronica Mars and check her out in August when she stars in the movie Fanboys which is a Star Wars comedy. Other than that filming for Forgetting Sarah Marshall will begin sometime in April.
