Cocaine is a fast-acting nervous system stimulant, extracted from the leaves of coca bush, a high altititude plant which grows in the Andes of Bolivia, Peru and Colombia. It usually comes as a white powder, and is snorted in lines to be absorbed by nasal membranes, users also rub it on their teeth and gums if they don't like snorting. Crack cocaine is a solid form of cocaine which is smoked and crackles when burning hence the name.
Cocaine is a fast acting drug that wears off just as quick, the effects are felt seconds after taking and wears off 30 minutes later. While in this state you feel alert, energised and buzzing and your blood pressure and heart rate increase.
Cocaine is VERY addictive and damage can be caused with cocaine use, it can destroy your septum ( The piece of tissue that seperates the nostrils ). Cocaine can also make the user suffer from instant nosebleeds and heavy users have even been known to totally dissolve their septums.
cocaine psychosis can also be developed which is a none-too-nice state of craving, insomnia, paranoia, restlessness, mood swings, lack of sexual appetite and weight loss.
