More Simpsons guest spot news, and for once a bit of good news for the troubled Amy Winehouse – those Bond theme rumours may have come to nothing (so far), but it does look like the singer will be heading to Springfield for an appearance in the show.

Creator Matt Groening asked Amy, who's massive in the US at the moment, to get on board and apparently she's agreed. It sounds like she'll be running into Lisa in a blues bar.

We bet those husky North London tones will sound great, and we can't wait to see that beehive in glorious 2-D.
