After several weeks of cancelled gigs followed by drinking sessions, Amy Winehouse made it onto the stage at the Eden Project in Cornwall only to shock and worry fans with her erratic behaviour.
Amy’s well known for her antics but is now causing concern among fans. On this occasion she ran off the stage after two songs, and on returning forgot her lyrics. Most disturbingly, she hit herself in the head and face with her microphone.
Some fans walked out in disgust after she spat into the crowd. One told the Sun: "She was acting like she couldn't be bothered and being really weird. We paid a lot of money because I was a huge fan - but I'm not any more." Another said: "I spent a quarter of my weekly pay because I've been a huge fan for years. Her first two songs were fine then she went running off stage. After she came back she was hitting her head over and over. It was pitiful and it made me cringe. She's worryingly skinny. She needs help."
