Amy Winehouse cuts herself during interview

It’s the mirror of an incident in 1991 when Manic Street Preachers guitarist Richey Edwards cut his arm in front of journalist Steve Lamacq – this time it’s Amy Winehouse who’s harmed herself during an interview with a US magazine.
Amy, who’s already famous for being out of control, was talking to Spin magazine when she used a broken shard of mirror to cut ‘I love Blake’ on her stomach. Blake Fielder-Civil, her new husband, was watching. The singer shrugged the disturbing incident off by commenting that she’s “not in this to be a role model”.
The interview appears in the new edition of the magazine and will increase concerns about the North Londoner, whose behaviour hasn’t calmed down since her Vegas marriage to Blake. Worries about her possible self-harming were raised earlier this year when she was seen with cuts on her arms, which she said were from a drunken fall.
