Anna Nicole Smith has been ordered by a court of law in the Bahamas to abandon the house she's been illegally inhabiting since she moved to the Caribbean island.
Anna had been served an eviction notice by the owner of the house, millionaire G. Ben Thompson, which she ignored.
Smith claimed Thompson gave her the property. He countered that it was never a gift and he expected payment.Thompson claims he was under the impression she would buy it.
He explained to People magazine: "She said it was a gift. I never said that.
I don't have that kind of money. I don't want to embarrass or humiliate her.
I just need my money, or collateral, back."
A default judgment was issued Tuesday against Smith, who was required to respond to Thompson's eviction filing by Monday, November 27th, but failed to do so.
The judgement means Thompson can now force Smith out of the house, which he is doing.
A letter has been sent to Smith's lawyer, demanding that she vacate within 48 hours.
This means Anna Nicole may have to leave the island and return to America.
According to reports, residency was only granted to Smith on the condition she bought a house after living on the island for an agreed period.
If it comes to light that she does not intend on buying the mansion she has resided since moving to the Bahamas, or any other property, her grant may be reviewed and Smith may face deportation.
