Billie's back with the Doctor

One of our favourite Dr Who sidekicks, Billie Piper, will return to the popular sci-fi programme next series.
Billie, who plays the Doc's companion Rose Tyler, will be back for three episodes of the drama next year.
She will be one of three assistants (the other two are Donna, played by Catherine Tate, and Freema Agyeman as Martha) in the next series – a bit greedy, if you ask me!
The Doctor will zap back onto our televisions next March and will run for 13 episodes. There will then be three special edition episodes in 2009, before the show takes a break in 2010.
Billie left the show last year when she was transported into a parallel universe. It was a moment of heartbreak for the Doctor, played by David Tennant, so he will no doubt be delighted to see her back.
Filming for the new series is currently underway in Cardiff.
