Britney files restraining order against her mum

Many a pop star has had parent problems, but Britney Spears has topped the lot by filing a restraining order – usually used against stalkers – against her own mother.
Lynne Spears, according to her 25-year-old megastar daughter, is addicted to prescription pain medication and shouldn’t be allowed near her two grandchildren. Britney is also apparently furious that her mother visited the boys, 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James, at the home of their father Kevin Federline, Britney’s recently estranged husband and wannabe rapper. The singer visited lawyers last week and signed everything needed to keep her mother at a legally-approved distance.
It gets worse – Britney thinks that her mother and her ex were having sneaky talks about making her go to rehab, as she did earlier this year, suffering from post-natal depression and alcoholism. Lynne herself is taking it all on the chin, saying that they’re going to sort it out in the end and it’s just one of those family problems. She said: “It's sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another. Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She is figuring things out.”
