Daniel suggests Bond bail-out

When it was first announced that the blonde Brit Daniel Craig would play the famously dark-haired James Bond, the internet was on fire with screams of protest – but he pulled it off and has ended up as the nation’s favourite Bond. However, it now seems that his stint as the spy may be more like George Lazenby’s (one Bond film) than Sean Connery’s (seven).
39-year-old Daniel has already signed up for the next 007 film, so no worries there, but he has hinted he won’t continue after that. He said he doesn’t only want to make spy films, and also said “I don’t just make movies for money.” Chances are he’ll be going back to his indie roots and looking for a smaller project. ‘Casino Royale’ was a massive hit – DVD sales for the first week of release came to 1,622,852.
The next Bond film is hitting cinemas in November next year, with the sultry Amy Winehouse tipped to record the theme song.
