After years of wearing matching coats and handbags (and the occasional coronation gown) the Queen of England has made it into a list of most glamorous women according to Vogue magazine.
The Definitive List of Today’s Glamorous Women includes young, beautiful stars such as Claudia Schiffer, Sophie Dahl and Kate Moss (of course) but Vogue feels the Queen should be in the list because of her impeccable style.
Although Queen Elizabeth is more than twice the age of some of the ladies featured, the December issue of the mag admires her ability to wear practical outdoor clothing with the same style that she displays with gowns and crowns.
Vogue is not the only one to have praised the queen for her fashion finesse. Only a few years ago, catwalk queen Kate Moss was reported to have told the monarch: “I love the stuff you wear. You have great fashion sense.”
The Queen was unavailable for comment, but we would expect her to say "One is delighted".
