Singer, model, presenter, pianist and all-round gorgeous gal Myleene Klass has given birth to her first child. The baby girl arrived in London’s Paddington – in hospital, not in the station, that would have been Bad – and weighed in at a petite 5lbs 9oz.
The baby has been named Ava – we don’t know if that’s after silver screen star Ava Gardner but that would be a classy reference for Klass. Working right up to the last minute, Myleene was heading home from presenting The One Show for the BBC when she went into labour in the taxi. Steady on! Hopefully the driver didn’t charge extra.
A spokesman has told the press that 'Myleene had a problem free labour, and mother and baby are doing well, She and [fiancé] Graham are ecstatic.' Yay the new parents! But please make her sit down for at least a couple of months before she gets back on the treadmill, someone.
