Looks like Gwen Stefani will need to pack lots of sensible clothes for her forthcoming gig in Malaysia – Muslim students protesting about her revealing outfits have led her to decide to keep the exposed flesh in check.
The concert is going ahead despite a call from the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students for it to be cancelled because of the star's "indecent dressing". The vice president Abdul Muntaqim, told the Associated Press: "Her performance and her attire are not suitable for our culture. It promotes a certain degree of obscenity and will encourage youth to emulate Western lifestyle."
Gwen and the organisers have assured that she'll be appropriately covered-up from neck to knees for the show, which is part of her Sweet Escape world tour. She's got a good incentive – last year the Pussycat Dolls earned a promoter a £1500 fine when they showed a bit too much off. Careful now!
