Hilary Duff is one of the States biggest and brightest stars. On October 20th she releases her debut single in the UK, ‘So Yesterday’, via Walt Disney Records
Best known in the UK as ‘Lizzie McGuire’ (after the show that debuted in the States in January 2001 and can now be seen on BBC 1), Hilary has enjoyed tremendous success, spawning a multi-million dollar grossing movie (out in the UK on August 29th), two soundtracks (one for the TV show and one for the movie with sales in excess of 2 million), she even has her own magazine in the UK entitled ‘Lizzie McGuire’ – all at 15.
Other acting work includes starring in ‘Agent Cody Banks’ with Frankie Muniz (‘Malcolm In The Middle’), Cheaper By The Dozen’ with teen idol Ashton Kurchner and is currently filming ‘A Cinderella Story’.
‘So Yesterday’ effortlessly blends pop with a tantalising edge of cool r&b and proves that Hilary excels at singing as well as acting – she’ll soon be a star in both. ‘So Yesterday’ will feature on her debut album ‘Metamorphosis’ (out November 3rd), which includes the likes of The Matrix (Avril Lavigne).
