Hotel Clerk Saves David Hasselhoff
In a rather strange incident at a London hotel, David Hasselhoff owes his life to a hotel clerk who came to his rescue after he accidentally slashed his wrist in a shaving accident. Hasselhoff actually severed a tendon on his right wrist after shattering a chandelier in his hotel bathroom and was immediately rushed to a hospital. Hasselhoff claims that if the clerk who came to his rescue had not heard his cries for help he probably wouldn’t have been alive today. Hasselhoff explains the situation like this "It was really early in the morning and I said, 'Help, help, please, and I went over with blood spurting everywhere, and she started to faint. I said, 'No, no, no... don't faint.' I grabbed her with my foot and I said, 'Excuse me, can you tell me the number for 911 here in London.'" Hasselhoff should be quite grateful that this hotel clerk saved his life. The incident happened to Hasselhoff on June 29, 2006 however was kept under wraps as they say until a few days ago.
