J-Lo gets paid

It's one of the pitfalls of fame – people who know you want to dish the dirt for cash. But you can turn it around and end up with a bit of extra pocket money yourself, if you do it the J-Lo way. Jennifer Lopez is going to pocket $545,000 after winning in court against her ex hubby Ojani Noa. (Yeah, we kind of went 'who?' as well.)
Ojani was planning to write a book about his life and his marriage to the Latino diva, and not all that flattering by the sounds of it – he was going to tell about how she was unfaithful. But Jen's won the lawsuit against him because the two had a contract in which he agreed not to say a dicky bird about their relationship. Since he breached that, the court decided, he's wrong.
The judge ruled that Ojani should never be allowed to publish details in his memoirs that are "criticising, denigrating" or that may place Lopez "in a negative light". We wish we could get that kind of deal going, like, with the rest of the world… then we could be complete horrors and no one could say a thing. Nice!
