Most people who get tattoos of their true love do it while they're still together, and regret it when the relationship hits the fan. But Desperate Housewives boy toy Jesse Metcalfe has done it a bit differently – getting a huge tatt of his ex Nadine Coyle months after their break-up.
The colourful tattoo has the Girls Aloud singer covering Jesse's bicep, in front of a rising sun, holding a rather large bloody heart on a string. Er, and did we mention she's not wearing anything much? Or indeed anything at all. We don't know who we feel more sorry for, Nadine or Jesse's next girlfriend.
He told US telly that he wanted the tattoo to remind him of the heartbreak so as never to go there again. "Every tattoo is a memory," he said, sensibly enough. "It doesn’t mean you are staying in that moment or obsessing about it." Rap star Na$ has a naked Kelis on his arm, but since those two are married and there are no giant bleeding hearts involved, we might let him off.
