Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose is seriously ill in a UK hospital after she reportedly trod on a rusty tack.
The seven year old was struck down by illness nine days ago, and Depp and long term partner Vanessa Paradis have been by her side since her hospital admittance.
Lily-Rose is said to be in a "serious condition".
A hospital source is quoted by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying:
"They are worried sick, but Lily-Rose is getting the very best treatment available. Johnny has not asked for any special favors but just wants the best for his child, like any parent. The whole family is just praying that she gets better.
They are taking each day as it comes. He's a devoted dad and is spending as much time as he can with Lily."
Johnny and Vanessa - who also have a four-year-old son John Jack - have been
using a staff entrance to enter the hospital without attracting attention
and are arriving for visits in a blacked-out car.
Lily trod on the nail at the farmhouse in France where she lives with weeks ago. "Blood poisoning developed. It has now spread through her body and has affected her vital organs," says one person with inside knowledge of the case.
It is reported the poison had affected one of Lily's kidneys and she is not responding to treatment in London's Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
