Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are now the proud parents of a baby girl. The news report broke just a few hours again that Katie Holmes has officially given birth. Cruise and Holmes decided to name their baby girl Suri which means princess in Hebrew and red rose in Persian. Suri was born in Los Angeles today and weighs 7 pounds and 7 ounces, she is also 20 inches tall. All of this was confirmed by Tom Cruise’s spokesperson.
Suri is Katie Holmes’ first child and will also be the first biological child for Tom Cruise. However, Cruise already has two adopted children with his former wife Nicole Kidman. Cruise and Holmes are very excited about the baby and can’t wait to spend time with her. Although Holmes and Cruise are only engaged, the rumor around Hollywood is that they plan on getting married sometime in the summer this year.
