Country singer Keith Urban is out of rehab and was spotted out and about with his devoted wife of 5 months, actress Nicole Kidman, on the weekend. The couple had brunch on Sunday at the Polo Lounge in Los Angeles and were last seen together on November 12, outside of the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, where Urban was being treated for alcohol abuse.
Kidman met Urban at a Hollywood event honoring Australians in January 2005. They were married on Sunday, June 25, 2006, at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, in Sydney. They are both 39.
This is Urban's second stint in rehab. In 1998, the singer checked into the Cumberland Heights treatment center in Nashville, Tennessee, seeking treatment for cocaine and alcohol addiction
Alarms sounded early for the newlywed couple when stories of Urban’s binging and wild partying lifestyle emerged while Nicole was in Europe. She flew to her husbands side for crisis talks, and Keith, determined to kick old habits and remain true to his love, checked himself into rehab. Urban had been in the in-patient rehabilitation program since October 19 and was expected to stay there for 35-40 days. Urban's rep said the singer is "still undergoing treatment."
