Klaxons singer breaks leg

It's always good to do the rock'n'roll thing and throw yourself off the stage at the end of a gig, but the Klaxons might think twice about it next time. Their singer Jamie Reynolds has broken his leg during an ill-judged leap at a gig in France.
Poor Jamie's broken his tibia and a three-inch plate is holding it in place. Doctors say he's got to keep his feet up, so the band have had to postpone their Australian tour dates. In a message on their MySpace the boys say they're "gutted" and send out "a big apology to all those who've bought tickets for the gigs".
The band are in the running for the Mercury Music Prize for their debut album Myths of the Near Future – let's hope if they win they don't attempt another stagedive…
