Lily lands her own TV show

In the same vein as Charlotte Church, cheeky pop singer Lily Allen has been given her own TV slot.
The BBC show will blend music, showbiz gossip and celebrity interviews - and it will no doubt feature a lot of good chat from its loud-mouther Cockney host too!
Apparently it will be called Lily and Friends, and it will be based on the social networking phenomenon sweeping the world. Featuring elements of internet sites such as MySpace and Facebook, viewers will be invited to become Allen’s virtual friends and will then be able to contribute to the show’s discussions and put questions to the singer’s guests.
Lily said: “I'm so excited that BBC Three are giving me this chance. It's something I intend to have lots of fun with and I have some great ideas for the show. Next year is going to be a brilliant year!”
Let's just hope you're not too gobby to your guests, Lily...
The show will air around springtime 2008 on BBC three.
