No Becks for Simpsons

We were just saying the other day that Fall Out Boy are in line to feature in The Simpsons – looks like it's just as well as there's one guest star that won't be showing up any time soon. David Beckham is ignoring requests to show his cartoon face on the show, as he's still angry about jokes made in the series at his expense.
Simpsons producers asked the footie legend to get immortalised in two-dimensional yellow after he moved to the US and started playing for LA Galaxy. However, Becks still recalls the 2004 Christmas special in which Marge gave a speech as the Queen and made a cheeky reference to David's affair with Rebecca Loos. Marge's words were: "Our union is as solid as the union between your David Beckham and Posh Spice. Oh, he did that? With his assistant? That's so sad… OK, moving on."
We hope that the star can bury the hatchet, we'd love to see him have a kickabout with Bart… even if Bart would have to volunteer to be the ball…
