The Rolling Stones are one of the planet's creakiest bands with a combined age of 253 they still refuse to acknowledge that they're getting a bit long in the tooth for this rock'n'roll lark. We thought they really would go on forever but it looks like the legendary pensioners may finally be throwing in the towel.
The boys if you can call them that are nearing the end of their Bigger Bang tour, and are thinking it's about time to call it quits. The band have been together since 1962 and apparently reckon it's time to retire.
It's partly because massive tours such as the Stones' ones take years to plan, and the chaps would be er, even older by the time the next one was ready. Enjoy your retirement, guys. Now it's time to put pressure on Rod Steward, he's getting on a bit
