No Woman, No Bob Marley

Now you would think being a multi-million pound company, you would be very smart or at least have a brain. However at the BBC they seem to forget how to use their brains.
On Thursday of last week the BBC contacted the Bob Marley Foundation Requesting an interview with Bob Marley... the BBC seemed to forget that the reggae legend died 24 years ago!
The BBC asked to speak to the late reggae star, who died of cancer at the age of 36, for a documentary on his hit song "No Woman No Cry".
They sent their request in an e-mail to the Bob Marley Foundation, they said the interview would involve the Jamaican reggae legend "spending one or two days with us".
The BBC were planning to do an hour long documentry on BBC Three, and the producer of the show insisted that it "would only work with some participation from Bob Marley himself".
On Saturday the BBC sent out this statement;
"We are obviously very embarrassed that we didn't realise that the letter to the Marley Foundation did not acknowledge that Mr Marley is no longer with us.
"Because of the volume of approaches we have sent out this was a genuine mistake when a sentence in a standard letter was overlooked.
"The Marley Foundation have been extremely good humoured about this and we have apologised for the error.
"We have sent out hundreds of letters to icons and musicians and we have had a great response from many who want to take part in an access-driven series, following the success of the BBC Three documentary, 'The Story Of Bohemian Rhapsody'."
In february of this year thousands of Bob Marley's fans gathered at the Ethiopian capital, Addis Abada to remember the legends 60th birthday.
Well people with this big mess-up from the BBC I leave you with a classic Peter Kay joke;
"How does Bob Marley like his doughnuts?"
"With Jamm-in!"
