Paris is out

After one of the biggest celeb-goes-to-jail fiascos of recent times, Paris Hilton is a free woman again. She was released at 8am, having served 24 days in Los Angeles chokey for driving when banned.
Her parents, Kathy and Rick, were there to pick her up. Naturally, they had to jostle with quite a few reporters who had been outside for hours, awaiting a glimpse of Paris. But they would have been disappointed – they may have got some good shots of the heiress leaving jail, but her first interview is being granted to talk show host Larry King on CNN.
Paris’ interview is so sought-after that it has booted controversial filmmaker Michael Moore, who made 'Bowling for Columbine', off the popular show to make room. As his new film is about the state of health care in America, he might be interested to know more about Paris’ early release on medical grounds, before she was sent back to the clink again.
26-year-old Paris was given a 45-day sentence for violating a driving ban she was handed for drinking and driving, but was given time off for good behaviour.
