Pete facing prison

It's one of those kind of inevitable things – Pete Doherty has so far avoided being sent to prison, but a judge is now saying that he will get sent down if he doesn’t straighten up and fly right, or words to that effect.
Kate's ex was in court last month and pleaded guilty to illegal driving and possession of drugs, having been stopped by police in west London in early May. The singer's case has been adjourned for four weeks while the judge ponders Pete's 'motivation' – if the man in the wig decides Doherty isn't doing the best he can with his drug detoxing and everything else, it'll be time for him to do time.
We'll have to wait and see if Pete can finally sort himself out or if he'll be taking the Paris Hilton road to redemption.
