Pete's paper plea

Pete Doherty's made a few dodgy decisions in his time but this might take the biscuit – he's poured out his heart (and spleen) to the Mirror in a bid to win back his very much ex-girlfriend Kate Moss.
The Mirror was the paper that almost cost Kate her career by publishing pics of her apparently doing drugs, but this hasn't stopped Pete from giving a lengthy interview explaining how he is heartbroken and still loves the supermodel who threw him out of her house recently. Kate's obviously not taking his calls and won't let him near the house, after the singer was seen in a cab with another woman, so Pete reckons this is the only way he can get in touch.
Unfortunately in amongst the sweet nothings about how he "loves her bones and the way she moves", and the claims that Kate never touches drugs now because "all she wants it to be a good mum to her kid", there are rants about how she's a "nasty old rag". Still, at least Pete admits he himself has been "a bit of an idiot". Understatement of the year anyone?
