Rob Schneider vs. Mel Gibson

Well while most of the world would wish Rob Schneider would just disappear from the planet. I personally find the guy to be somewhat amusing and have enjoyed most of the things he has done. But today Rob Schneider has taken a stance today and this stance is against Mel Gibson who as I reported earlier in the week was arrested for drunk driving. Schneider said that he would never work with Mel Gibson after hearing about his anti-semitic remarks that Gibson made when he was arrested last Friday. Schneider who is actually really upset by the incident has actually taken an ad out in Variety slamming Mel Gibson in what is said to be “An Open Letter to the Hollywood Community.” The ad appeared in Variety on Thursday and stated "I, Rob Schneider, a 1/2 Jew, pledge from this day forth to never work with Mel Gibson-actor-director-producer-and anti-Semite." Schneider goes on joking that even if he was offered the lead role in Passion of the Christ 2 or a voice over role in Apocalypto he will turn both parts down. Schneider also took the time to praise a Hollywood manager named Bernie Brillstein in the letter because he already stated he refused to work with Gibson. Rob Schneider is currently directing a movie which is called Big Stan in which there will be a Nazi gang leader. Schneider says the role would be ideal for Gibson but he will still not cast him in the role even if he wanted to do it. Schneider ended this letter by saying "Of course that would only be after I talked with my financial backers. Some of whom share Mr. Gibson's hankering for a good bottle of tequila. Because, after all...I don't get to call all the shots." I personally find this whole letter to be quite amusing and actually think its all one big prank because if you really read this story everything seems very sarcastic and silly.
