Robbie's naughty comments land him in court

Uh oh...it looks like Robbie Williams has been a naughty boy.
The rebellious singer has had to apologise to his former Take That manager Nigel Martin-Smith and cough up some compensatory dosh after he implied Mr Martin-Smith had stolen money from the band back in the day.
Robbie, who left the pop band in 1995 to pursue a solo career, has been forced to remove the lyrics from the song “The 90s”, which can be found on his 2006 album “Rudebox”.
According to Martin-Smith's lawyer, the star has made a number of nasty comments about his ex-boss. He said “Robbie Williams wishes to make it clear to his fans, and the public at large, that he did not intend these lyrics to be taken at face value or as a serious statement by him of the views which he holds of Nigel Martin-Smith.”
Silly Robbie. Hopefully he'll keep his gob shut in future and spend his money on champagne instead.
