Oh no! Sandi Thom, the punk rocker with flowers in her hair (she wishes), will be coming home to find her studio has fallen victim to the mad UK floods.
The studio's almost as famous as she is, being the place from which she broadcast the sessions that shot her to fame on the internet. The good news – or bad news, depending on how much you like her cheery brand of pop rock – is that Sandi finished her new album a couple of weeks ago so nothing's been lost.
"Because of the thunderstorms the water is three feet deep and all the amps and guitars that were on the floor are damaged," a source told the Scottish Daily Record. "Although the computer where she mixes her songs isn't damaged, the leads are soaked and it was lucky the electricity went down otherwise it could have started a fire. The floor is likely to need redone and the adjoining room where she has a sofa and bar to chill out in has been hit too."
Maybe just in case next time she should invest in some Sandi-bags...
