Sharon Stone Wins Settlement

Actress Sharon Stone has made a settlement with the famous British tabloid, the Daily Mail. The reason behind Stone’s lawsuit against the tabloid was because the tabloid reported that she left her son in a car while she enjoyed a late night date at a local restaurant. Stone filed the suit against the Daily Mail after they claimed they took a picture of her baby boy in the back seat of the car, when she was inside the Ivy with this mysterious date. One month later the tabloid published another story which the headline read “Sharon’s dinner date and this time her baby goes too.” Stone’s famous lawyer Rupert Grey claimed the paper falsely insinuated Stone has a bad mother and that her son has been traumatized by the paparazzi and hounding photographers. He continues on by saying that both stories made a clear allegation that Sharon Stone neglected her son in a shameful and selfish way. Stone said on Friday morning that she will donate the court payout to charity.
The funniest thing about this story was that Stone has never said that she did not leave her son in the car alone. This is a very key argument to this story. If her lawyer or Stone herself would have said that she never left her child alone, I would have agreed with this but it seems a key element of this story is missing.
