It’s only a week or so since high rock beastess Courtney Love blasted the slightly sleazy comedian Steve Coogan for leading the troubled Owen Wilson astray with drugs. Now it’s Love’s turn to get blamed, in this instance by the totally demure and not at all terrifying Sharon Osbourne.
Sharon’s let rip at Courtney for getting her son Jack into drugs. According to Ozzy’s wife, Courtney introduced Jack to the prescription drug Oxycotin when he was a wee lad of 15. Jack ended up in rehab, although we don’t know if Courtney could be held responsible for that any more than Alan Partridge could be said to have driven Owen Wilson to get into a mess.
"I will never have time for Courtney Love. There's not a shadow of a doubt about that,” Sharon says, with typical bluntness. “My dislike for her is very personal. I'm not saying Jack wouldn't have taken it if she hadn't given it to him, but I'm appalled that an adult mother would give that to a 15-year-old boy. How could she do that to someone else's child?"
Expect a retort from Courtney any day now…
