Shilpa for Bond?

We love a good Bond rumour – the latest is that Big-Brother-via-Bollywood babe Shilpa Shetty is going to appear as a Bond girl.
Makers of the next Bond film are lying awake at night about this, since she sells out cinemas across Asia and might be a bit of a sure thing. According to Marie Claire via London's Metro paper, a source (it's always a 'source' isn't it) said: "Shilpa is having secret talks with the top brass who are working on the next movie. As far as they are concerned she has it all – she is beautiful, feisty and a great actress. But they also want someone who is a big star prior to the film, which Shilpa is. She has a huge following in Bollywood, as well as a number of fans in the Western world – especially in Britain – so she will be great for box office sales."
We'd love to see Shilpa in a Bond flick, although we reckon it might be a bit distracting – if the plot's not riveting we might start drifting off and going over that argument with Jade Goody again...
