Sofia Coppola expecting a baby girl

While I have yet to see Marie Antoinette (I plan on seeing it sometime this week) I personally think Sofia Coppola is a terrific director and I still love Lost in Translation as much now as I did the first time I saw it. Well it turns out that not only is Sofia Coppola 7 months pregnant but she is also having a baby girl. Coppola is not married but is currently dating Thomas Mars who is the front man for the band Phoenix. Coppola and Mars have yet to decide on a name for their soon to be born baby girl. In a recent interview with USA Today, Coppola states, "I'm so excited to have a little girl. We're going to wait and see about a name. When you're writing, you pick names for characters, but it's harder in real life." While Coppola has never stated whether she wanted a boy or a girl, she has stated that she was very happy to be having a little girl because she is looking forward to picking out baby dresses for her daughter. She also states it is fun to pick out little girl stuff. Hopefully Coppola will have a name picked by the time the baby is born.
