After all these years and all the alleged scraps and fallings-out, it’s not entirely surprising that the reformed Spice Girls will be taking a therapist with them on their reunion tour. Although we reckon a big bloke trained in breaking up catfights might be useful too, just in case.
Virgin records executives aren’t so worried there’ll be actual hair-extension-pulling, but they are concerned that any disagreements might mean one or two girls jack it in and go home, messing up the tour. The therapist is meant to be there to sort out any disputes and get them to kiss and make up – and carry on with the tour.
According to a source of Sunday’s Daily Star, "This tour will be massive and record bosses do not want anything getting in the way - least of all the girls themselves. They want Girl Power to come back in style, not end in arguments between the girls. So taking a therapist along to smooth out any problems makes sense.The therapist will be available any time the girls need someone to talk to so that any disagreements do not get out of hand. It would be a disaster if any of them walked out mid-way through the tour."
