He's released more records in the last ten years than most people who have the advantage of still being alive and well, but it looks like the Tupac Shakur bonanza may soon be over. His mother Afeni Shakur is going to court to stop Death Row Records selling recordings that she claims belong to the late rapper's estate.
Afeni says that the unreleased tunes – we can't believe there still are some, he really was a busy boy in his brief life – should have been given to the estate ten years ago as part of an agreement. Death Row are planning to sell the recordings as part of a bankruptcy settlement.
Infamous label boss Suge Knight went for bankruptcy last spring, claiming debts of $100million for himself and his label.
