X Factor Sharon’s shock exit

What a night of TV it was last night…First England lost the rugby, then the X Factor lost one of its long-standing judges Sharon Osbourne!
Rocker Ozzy’s fiery red-headed wife stunned her fellow judges, the contestants and presenter Dermot O’Leary by announcing her resignation on live television.
As two of her acts - bubbly blonde Kimberly Southwick and leggy Alisha Bennett - faced being voted off after they were left in the bottom two positions, Sharon announced “I’m out - gone!” She later went on to say she was resigning, and wouldn’t be here to see her girls next week.
Sharon looked upset as two of her acts stood on stage with presenter Dermot as they waited to hear which of them would be going home. Sharon joined the girls onstage - barefoot and looking a little worse for wear - and announced the shock resignation. She then walked off stage and refused to join the judging panel for the final verdict.
Show owner and producer Simon Cowell looked stone-faced as he announced that he thought Kimberly should go. Dannii Minogue said Alisha should leave, leaving Louis Walsh to make a tough decision. After deliberation he agreed with Simon, sending a disappointed Kimberly home. Sharon refused to have any say in the outcome. A shell-shocked Dermot stuttered out the result, clearly in a difficult position as Sharon shouted from the sidelines.
It is hoped that Sharon will calm down after a good night’s rest. But if she doesn’t, it is thought that BBC Radio One presenter Chris Moyles will take over the judging job and will mentor the ‘under-25 girls’ category from now on.
Funnily enough, Sharon was interviewed on Parkinson straight after the X Factor - looking a lot more calm and collected!
Let’s hope a nice cup of tea and a shot of botox will perk Shazza up again in time for next week’s show.
