MARTIN SCORSESE'S SHINE A LIGHT OPENS THE
58TH BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
UK to Stage Ground-breaking Nationwide Premiere Event on April 2
On Thursday 7 February, the curtain rose for the 58th Berlin International Film Festival, kicking off with the world premiere of Oscar® winning director Martin Scorsese's SHINE A LIGHT, his spectacular new motion picture about The Rolling Stones.
All four of The Rolling Stones were in attendance alongside Martin Scorsese in a lavish opening ceremony, as cinemagoers were treated to a unique cinematic experience of rock n roll in a stunning festival setting.
Following its presentation in Berlin, The Rolling Stones will be in London's Leicester Square on Wednesday 2 April as SHINE A LIGHT premieres simultaneously there and at cinemas across the country via live satellite. Cinemagoers nationwide will experience a Rolling Stones concert as never before - as the fifth member of the band, from the front row and from behind the scenes.
